<\/a><\/p>\nThe festival is quickly approaching! Mark your calendars to come out\u00a0and support this major fundraising event. Get some hours worked,\u00a0visit with fellow members and friends and cheer on the Finn Camp\u2019s\u00a0Voima softball team!<\/p>\n
Friday kicks off the festival with the kitchen and beer truck opening\u00a0at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Home Run Derby starting around 6:30\u00a0p.m. Come see the big hitters knock \u2019em into the woods! We will\u00a0continue the evening with music and dancing in the Clubroom!<\/p>\n
On Saturday the kitchen will open at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast with\u00a0food available all day in the Ravintola or the food tent. The softball\u00a0tournament also begins at 8:00 a.m., with games on our George Aho\u00a0Memorial Field and the Gilbert Willis Park fields. Flag-raising\u00a0ceremonies by the Wixom VFW post will be at 11:00 a.m. We will\u00a0have music and entertainment from the Dance Hall porch plus 50\/50\u00a0raffles, the pitching booth, dunk tank, horseshoes, bocce ball, face\u00a0painting and the sale of Finn Camp and Finn Fest merchandise\u00a0throughout the day. Save some energy for the dance floor with our DJ\u00a0playing all our favorites in the Dance Hall.<\/p>\n
Sunday we will do it all over again! The kitchen will open for\u00a0breakfast at 8:00 a.m. with food available all day. Softball will\u00a0continue on all three fields with the championship game on the Finn\u00a0Camp field in the late afternoon or early evening, followed\u00a0immediately by the trophy presentation. Music, raffles and other\u00a0activities will continue as well.\u00a0Many members are needed to work in all areas throughout the\u00a0weekend, especially in security and the kitchen. As a member of a\u00a0cooperative association, please participate by giving a few hours of\u00a0your time to pitch in and help make our festival successful!
