Ruth L. Yogus<\/strong>, age 89, of Commerce Township and formerly of Howell, passed away\u00a0September 17.\u00a0 Born on September 3, 1926, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Neil and Edythe (Kotila) Lund.\u00a0Ruth had been a member of the Detroit Finnish Cooperative Summer Camp Association (D.F.C.S.C.A.) in Wixom since 1952 and had served on its Recreation Committee and in the Ladies\u2019 Auxiliary.\u00a0She had also been active in the Arabian Horse Association of Michigan, serving as secretary.\u00a0 Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Yogus (April 8, 1992) whom she had married in Detroit on June 17, 1949.\u00a0 She was the loving mother of Joyce (David) Chichila of Commerce Township, Joseph W. (Nancy) Yogus, Jr., of Three Rivers, Ronn L. (Heidi) Yogus of Waterford and Nancy E. Kasparschuster of Fenton. Grandmother of nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, she is survived by her brothers, Robert N. Lund of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Ronald B. Lund of Paradise, Mich. A memorial celebration in honor of Ruth\u2019s life will be held on\u00a0Saturday, October 10, at 12 noon\u00a0at the D.F.C.S.C.A., 2524 Loon Lake Rd., Wixom, MI 48393.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers, contributions to the D.F.C.S.C.A. are suggested.\u00a0 Please sign the family\u2019s online guestbook at\u00a0www.macdonaldsfuneralhome.com<\/a>.
