The Camp leaf
raking inspection is June 10th, following the Board meeting.
The Sauna and
Beach Managers for the 2006 season will be DENISE DYKSTRA and SUE SLAUGHTER.
AMBER ARO has
been awarded a Scholarship from the D.F.C.S.C.A. Scholarship Fund.
REMINDERS: Per Blue Book Rule 201.1.12, Member’s
children, 18-25, who receive over 1/2 of their support from
a member and are
declared as dependents on member’s federal income tax return, living at home,
and enjoying the
privileges of the Association, shall be required to work
sixteen hours per year. If the member’s
children do not wish
to work these hours, they may forfeit their member’s child status and
become a regular quest. Notice must be
given
to the Board of Directors in writing.
If the work hours are not completed and the child has been using the
facilities,
the member’s account will be charged appropriately for the unworked hours.
DANCEHALL RENOVATION : Need
work hours? Jobs for everyone-cleaning,Labeling, organizing,
construction,
sewing, installing , fixing and replacement.The Dancehall is being updated. A more detailed list is posted at
beach. Lots of help is needed. The Dancehall will be closed (except for planned functions) until
the work is completed.
Please have
the help, the sooner it can get done.
Work is scheduled for every Wednesday 10am to 2pm. The people who show up
to help will schedule other times.

can have many groups working simultaneously.

FISHING
Set up begins at 8:30am. You’re
more than welcome to come and help.
Registration starts at 930am.
$4 Entry Fee includes the fish and chip lunch and maybe a prize. Once we have enough fish caught, the cleaning
and cooking will begin.
Thank you to the members who have purchased items to donate as prizes
and also those bringing food items for the luncheon and those volunteering
their time to help.
Prize donations should be bagged or boxed, labeled “Fishing Derby”, include your name and give to me (camp 142)
or any Board member.

Children’s Program on Saturday and Children’s Track Meet on Sunday. We look
