BOARD NOTES

PIKKU JOULU - ‘ Little Christmas Party’ - Sunday, December 8 - 1:00 pm to 5:00pm
Please plan to attend our annual Christmas celebration with the kids and enjoy a wonderful afternoon
of holiday cheer with family and friends. All new members are asked to bring an unbreakable
ORNAMENT ( 1 per family) to hang on the tree and add to the collection. Please bring a DISH to pass
for our POTLUCK LUNCH. Traditional RIISI PUURO will be served. SANTA and MRS. CLAUS
are sure to appear. If you would like your child to participate in the Grab Bag, bring a wrapped gift
with your child’s name to be put under the tree. (Please limit your gift to $10-15). Anyone interested in helping with set up and decorating or clean-up, contact ROBYN.

ANNUAL ADULT CHRISTMAS PARTY - Saturday, December 14 - Begins 8:00pm in the Clubroom
Celebrate the Christmas Season at our ANNUAL PARTY . DJ for dancing and listening pleasure –
Please bring a SNACK/APPETIZER. Door Prizes and Raffle.

REMINDER: WINTER TAX STATEMENTS will be mailed by January 10th, 2003 with payment due by Feb.1st.
Statement will include Property Taxes and unworked hours at $10/hour and electricity for Camp owners.
If a Work Hour Card was not turned in, you will be charged for the hours

CHRISTMAS CRAFT BAZAAR - December 14th and 15th - 12 noon to 4pm - Clubroom
Sponsored by the Beach and Sauna Committee. $20/table for 2 days. Contact JODY,
LEAH, JENN if interested in sponsoring a table

Bar Committee - Winter Hours : Saturdays 7pm-close ( closed Dec 28th) and last Friday of Month 7pm-close
Starting January 31, the Committee will sponsor EUCHRE TOURNEY last Friday of each month.
Please bring a Snack to pass. Registration at 7pm. $5 Entry Fee. Cash Prizes.
Thank You to all Bar Captains and the Membership for your support this past season. We were very successful.

FINN CAMP SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE administers a one-time award for members, or their children, in good standing for the past 2 years. The Scholarship amount varies each year, depending on the monies available in the fund.
In 2002 the award amount was $250. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or greater from high school
or college. Applicants must plan on being a full-time student. Full details are available in the Bluebook, 204.3.8
Letters of Application are due before March 31 and may be sent to the attention of Scholarship, at the D.F.C.S.C.A.
