ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ****** April 27 ****** Sunday ****** Clubroom
Registration begins at 11:00am and the Meeting begins at 12 noon.
ALL MEMBERS are encouraged to attend to participate in discussions and decisions for coming season and jthe future. Light lunch will be available.

The BOARD OF DIRECTORS is accepting applications for BEACH/SAUNA MANAGER for Summer 2003. Mail your letter of interest to the Board by April 27, 2003.

BAR COMMITTEE - The BAR opens for Friday nights starting April 18th.
The next Bar Meeting will be May 7 at 6:30pm. ACTIVITIES planned for the summer include a June 7th Adult Pajama Party and Father’s Day Breakfast/Barbeque Raffle.

THE CULTURAL COMMITTEE will be meeting April 12 at 7:00pm in the Clubroom.
Plans for Dance Lessons and the Fall Finnish Tori (Flea Market) will be discussed.

RECREATION COMMITTEE : GREAT NEWS! We are pleased to announce the Swimming Instructors for this summer : AMBER A. and KATIE J.! The Children’s Swim Program will begin Monday, July 7, and run through Saturday, August 2nd. Look for more information in upcoming Newsletter. Questions? Call JENNIFER B. .

FINN CAMP SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE administers a one-time award for members, or their children, in good standing for the past 2 years. The Scholarship amount varies each year, depending on the monies available in the fund. In 2002 the award amount was $250. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or greater from high school or college. Applicants must plan on being a full-time student. Full details are available in the Bluebook, 204.3.8 Letters of Application are due before March 31 and may be sent to the attention of Scholarship, at the D.F.C.S.C.A. Board address. THE DETROIT FILM THEATRE at the Detroit Institute of Arts will present the Academy Award Nominated Film, THE MAN WITHOUT A PAST, by AKI KAURISMAKI on May 2 and 3 at 7pm and 930pm and on May 4 at 4pm and 7pm.
