BOARD NOTES
RENTAL REQUESTS for Camps, Beach/Sauna, Clubroom or Dancehall must be
placed with CINDI M.
Please note that at least a 30-day notice should be given for requested rentals.
All rentals must be approved by the Board of Directors – requests made within
a week of wanted dates does not allow enough time for the process. Prior approval
minimizes having of multiple Beach rentals on the same day and is more fair
to the other Members who come to enjoy the beach. This summer, there have been
several Beach rental requests made at the last minute. Requesting rental on
the day of the event is unreasonable. It is not fair to the Board or to the
Social director and Beach Manager. Approval is required when members wish to
invite more than the allotted guests to enjoy our Facilities. The Beach rental
contract will also take into consideration the use of picnic tables, swings
and tete-da-tete’s. The rental will allow the use of two (2) picnic tables.
If adequate time is given, arrangements can be made to have more delivered
to the Beach area. The renter will be responsible for providing the remaining
seating/table
room necessary. This is also for the consideration of the other members using
the Beach that day.
Re: FINN CAMP BUSINESS : It is refreshing when a member initiates a project
to improve our facility,
whether a Physical improvements to the buildings or grounds or to better communication
between our members.
However, please keep in mind that any and all Finn Camp business must go through
the Board of Directors.
It is not to hinder the initiative
