BOARD NOTES

THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING is Sunday, April 25, with Registration beginning at 11:00am and the MEETING begins at 12 noon. All members are encouraged to attend to elect new Board Members and to discuss future plans. A light lunch will be served for a small donation.

The Board of Directors is looking for committees to run the Kitchen for a weekend in the summer for breakfast (or whatever you would like). Saturday and Sunday breakfast is always very popular.

JUHANNUS
Members, mark your calendar for the Juhannus celebration June26! The fun will start on Friday night, June 25, and continue through the weekend. There will be an Arts & Crafts/ Bake Sale on Saturday form 9am to 2pm. We have so many talented and creative members we want to support. All of you gifted members, ( that includes baking too!), contact GINGER at for a table. The fee is $5.00. There will also be games for the kids at the Lake. Entertainment for all!!
The Bonfire will be HOT and Beautiful. - SHERRY AHO

APRIL and MAY ARE OPEN ENROLLMENT MONTHS FOR THE FINN CAMP!
Got a friend who wants to find out what the Finn Camp is all about? April and May is the time to introduce your friends and Finnish family members to all that the Finn Camp has to offer. Sign them up for a “Lemonade Tour” Saturday, April 24 or Saturday, May 15. On the Tour they will get to see Sun Lake, Loon Lake, the Pine Forest, the Sauna, Dancehall, the Baseball Fields and trails. Call MARY BURCK or look for the sign-up sheets at the sauna. Both Tours start at 3:00pm. Membership packets will be available and questions answered about potential memberships. And don’t forget to direct your pals to our website at finncamp.org if they would like more info on becoming a member.

APRIL IS YELLOW FLYER MONTH
Look for the Yellow Fliers and help our Future Planning Committee by posting a flyer in your neck of the woods or sending one to a friend. we will try to keep them in stock for you to distribute. We are also planning an upcoming brochure to increase membership.

BAR COMMITTEE presents the COMEDY ITALIAN WEDDING and COMEDY ITALIAN BAND on June 19th in the Dancehall. You’ll find yourself tossed into the middle of a wacky comical love affair. There is a procession! An exchange of Vows! There is singing! There is Dancing! And yes, there is even “another man”! Look for tickets to go on sale this Spring.

WOODS COMMITTEE PROJECTS will continue on the second Sunday of the Month. Meet at 10:00am at the tractor garage adjacent to the Farm House. Call MIKE HONKA with any questions or call him if you plan to help with the projects but will arrive a little late.
