HATS OFF TO A SUCCESSFUL 2004 WINTERFEST and CHILI COOKOFF
The weather was wonderful, huge fluffy snowflakes!! We had record breaking
attendance - 162. Parking overflowed to Lyonia and Creyts! 68 dared to dip
and our two youngest were HOLLY TAIPALA and CHRISTA MADDICK. Good fun times
were had by all. Thank you so much for all who help year after year and those
who just pitched in - you guys make this possible.
First place in the Chili Making was HEIDI CORNISH ( friend of Jeff and Ronda
). 2ND Place: TAMMIE KING. 3RD Place: PATTI ARBOR. Good job and KITTOS to the
other entries from DENISE D., CAROL S., LAURIE T., DONNA and JAMES, ROBYN J.,
KEVIN P., BRYSON M., JASON E., GARY S. AND CAROL W. They were delicious treats.
Special Thanks to BRUCE FOXWORTHY for the fabulous lantern donated for the
raffle. You are too good to us.
Unfortunately, I am asking for your help in locating the bottoms of 4 chafing
dishes that are missing. These were borrowed from the High School Culinary
Department who will have to be reimbursed if not found. There goes our profit
from everyone’s HARD WORK. See, hear or know something?
Absolutely NO QUESTIONS ASKED! We just need them back. Call CINDI
WOODS COMMITTEE PROJECTS will continue on the second Sunday of the Month. Meet
at 10:00am at the tractor garage adjacent to the Farm House. Call MIKE HONKA
