It\u2019s FESTIVAL time so please\u00a0attend and support this major fundraising event for Finn Camp! This is a great time to get in your work hours, catch up with other members and friends, and cheer on our own Finn Camp Voima team in the softball tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FRIDAY<\/strong>\u00a0kicks off the weekend with the kitchen and beer truck opening at 5:00pm, followed by the Home Run Derby beginning about 6:30pm. Come see how many of the big hitters can still knock \u2018em into the woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SATURDAY<\/strong> morning the kitchen opens at 8:00am for breakfast with food available all day in the Ravintola and under the tent. The softaball tournament also begins at 8:00am with games on the Finn Camp\u2019s George Aho Memorial Field and the Gilbert Willis Park \ufb01elds. Flag raising ceremonies will be held at 10:00am with playing of the US and Finland National anthems; music will continue from the Dance Hall porch throughout the afternoon. There will be 50\/50 raf\ufb02es, kids activites, horseshoes, and other yard games for all ages. Finn Camp merchandise will be on sale under the tent throughout the day too! SUNDAY<\/strong>\u00a0FUN-day and we will do it all over again! The kitchen will open for breakfast at 8:00am with food available all day. Softball will continue on all 3-\ufb01elds with the championship game on our A-\ufb01eld in the late afternoon\/early evening, followed immediately by trophy presentation. Music, merchandise sales, and other activities will continue as well. \u00a0Like, who has the OLDEST T-Shirt contest. Contestants must be wearing the shirt and see either Gavin or Patty. They have till 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon to present themselves.
