SUN LAKE FISHING DERBY
Thanks to all who helped and had a good time at the Fishing Derby June 13. Approximately 175 fish were caught,
cleaned and fried to be enjoyed by the 58 participants. The Most Fish prize went to JOE SANTTI and 2nd place to
KEITH MADDICK. This year despite rumors of large carp running rampant, the Largest Fish was a measly size bass
caught by KEITH MADDICK and thrown back. The Cleanest, most orderly Tackle Box award went to DAVID TAIPALA. The Best Costumed were “Panama Jack”, ROBERT TAIPALA AND “Extra Fishy”, KEITH MADDICK. ZIGGY and JAKE did another fine job helping with the fish processing. Everyone had a great time. A Big Thanks to our sponsors, CAST and BLAST OUTFITTERS on Glengary for the Youngest Angler prize awarded to 3 year old DARREN GOLD of Wixom. Also appreciated are the guys (and sometimes gals) who come help clean the fish every year along with the Beach Managers who should be commended for all they do to help during these kind of events. Thanks so much! BOB and MARY BURCK
CONDOLENCES - We extend our sincere sympathies to the family and friends of IRENE WAINIO
who passed away in May.
WANTED - DARREL NELSON would like to buy a CAMP. Call him at 586-801-****.
