Annual Fishing Derby

Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 12: It could be your lucky day. Come alone, with a friend or bring the family. (This event is for members and guests only; guests are required to pay beach fees.) Registration starts at 9 a.m., the fishing begins at ten and lunch is about noon. Fish for hours, enjoy a freshly cooked fish-and-chip lunch—and maybe even win a great prize! There will be games and raffles for young and old. If you’re not into fishing, come and volunteer to get some work hours in. Volunteers are always needed, and donations of salad, fruit, veggies or dessert will really be appreciated, to round out what will already be a great meal.
